Georgia Qualifies to Rugby World Cup

{mosimage} After a victory and a draw against Portugal, the Georgian national rugby team qualified to the World Cup for the second time in a raw.
Portugal was the last oponnent for the georgian team on their way to the World Cup. In Tbilisi the match ended with a 17-3 victory for Georgia. A 11-11 draw in Lisbon was enough to qualify to the major international rugby event.
Georgia will play in the same group as the hosts of the tournament - the national team of France. Other teams in the group are Ireland, Argentina and Namibia. 
The World Cup will begin on the 07.09.2007. Georgia will play their first match against Argentina on 11.09. The tickets for the world cup are nearly sold out already. The only match with georgian participation for which there are tickets available is the match against Namibia on 26.09 in Lens. The tickets can be purchased on the official website of the tournament.
