{mosimage}The former Manchester City and Anorthosis Famagusta midfielder Giorgi Kinkladze will leave his current team Rubin Kazan.

The 33 year old Kinkladze has moved to Kazan in 2005 under rather nasty circumstances. He left his previous team Anorthosis a couple of hours before the crucial champions league qualifying match against Glasgow Rangers. By doing so he left the team and the player-coach Temur Ketsbaia, who have helped him to get back on track after a difficult period in his career, in one of the most important moments in the clubs history.{mosimage}

Now Kinkladzes contract with Rubin Kazan has expired and the russian team is not going to make a new offer. The future of one of the most famous georgian players of the last decade is uncertain. It is not clear yet whether he will end his career or sign a new contract elsewhere.

The contract of Rubins sport director Irakli Gegechkoria has also expired. A new contract will not be offered to him either.
