Goal.com analyses the individual contributions from tonight's World Cup 2010 qualifier between Italy and Georgia...
Buffon – 6.5: Had virtually no saves to make all game, but organised the backline, and his decision making was perfect as always.
Zambrotta – 6.0: Sound performance from Zambrotta, although he was caught out of position for Kenia’s chance.
Legrottaglie – 7.5: Outstanding at the back, and didn’t put a foot wrong. Timed his tackles, headers and interceptions perfectly.
Cannavaro - 6.5: A few poor clearances that put Italy in trouble, but apart from this he formed a solid partnership with Legrottaglie.
Dossena – 7.0: A determined and dogged display from Dossena, who showed good energy bombing down the left flank.
De Rossi - 8.5: Man-of-the-match! Scored both of Italy’s goals, the first an absolute screamer from 30 yards, the second a clinical finish inside the area.
Pirlo – 5.5: Under-par performance from the Milan man, who misplaced his passes, was second to the 50/50 balls, and generally looked tired. Replaced at the break for Palombo.
Aquilani - 6.5: A mixed game from Aquilani. At times he went missing, but he also produced some moments of class.
Di Natale – 6.0: The hero against Cyprus at the weekend, but struggled to make much of an impact tonight. Missed a glorious chance on 14 minutes when his shot trickled wide.
Toni – 6.0: Had a good first 15 minutes where he created Di Natale’s chance, but then struggled to make an impact, even if he did also lay on a pass for Aquilani. Too immobile.
Camoranesi – 7.0: Italy’s creative spark in midfield, Camoranesi was on fire in the first 20 minutes, and he always looked the most likely player to make things happen.
Subs: Palombo 6.5, Del Piero 6.5, Iaquinta 6.5.
Loria – 6.0: Could do nothing on both of De Rossi’s goals, and did everything that was asked of him.
Lobjanidze - 6.5: Did well to nullify Di Natale, and made one superb goal saving challenge on the forward in the first half.
Salukbadze – 6.5: Coped relatively well with Toni, particularly in the air. A committed display.
Kaladze - 6.0: Was perhaps a little fortunate not to give away a penalty early on, but aside from this was reasonably sound.
Eliava – 5.0: Struggled against Camoranesi in the opening 20 minutes, and looked nervous whenever he touched the ball. Subbed at half time.
Kenia - 7.0: The 17-year-old looks like a real prospect for the future, but he will be having nightmares about his glaring first half miss.
Khmaladze - 6.0: Played for the team, and did not make too much impact on the game from an individual point of view.
Menteshashvili - 6.0: Lots of quantity from Menteshashvili, who stole a few balls off Pirlo in the first half, but not too much quality.
Kobiashvili - 6.5: Georgia’s most experienced player led by example, and never gave up until the end.
Iashvili – 5.0: Battled gamely up-front, but got little change out of Legrottaglie, who had him in his pocket for most of the match.
Mchelidze – 6.0: One of Georgia’s brighter players until he was taken off, and he created the chance for Kenia in the first half.
Subs: Kvaskvhvadze 6.0, Siradze 6.0, Odkadze 5.5.
